Author

Natalia Moreno Belloso

Doctoral researcher in law at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy. My research explores how competition law deals with value conflicts – that is, situations where the value of competition comes to clash with non-competition values. I look at the value conflicts triggered by digital platforms, focusing on the conflict between competition and privacy as well as the conflict between competition and cybersecurity. Prior to joining the EUI, I completed my legal studies at Tilburg University, graduating with an LLB and an LLM. I also hold a BSc in Economics from the same university as well as a second LLM in Comparative, European and International Laws from the EUI.
