Alba Ribera Martínez
Competition Law

PhD in Competition Law at University Carlos III of Madrid, specializing in digital markets, data protection, and fundamental rights. Experienced in antitrust law, with roles in academia and editorial work, and former Assistant Researcher at the Spanish competition authority (CNMC).

Alexandros Politis
Tax Law

Law graduate from the Law School of Athens, with an LLM in European Law from the College of Europe, and PhD candidate at the University of Luxembourg. Partner at Christianos & Partners Law Firm, with experience as a trainee at the European Commission and roles in academia at the College of Europe.

Alice Khouri
ESG

Head of Legal at Helexia and founder of the civic initiative Women in ESG, aiming to promote gender equality in the ESG sector. Lawyer with expertise in energy, renewables, and sustainability, holding a master's in public law and pursuing a PhD at the University of Lisbon, researching in others institutions.

Anouk Van der Veer
Competition Law

PhD Researcher at the European University Institute in Florence (Italy), holding a Bachelor's and Master's in Law from Utrecht University, located in Netherlands. The profissional previously worked as a Paralegal in competition law in Europe and as a Junior Researcher at Utrecht University.

Benedetta Lobina
ESG and Compliance

PhD candidate, Sutherland School of Law, University College Dublin. LLM(Research), First Class (Hons) MA Legal Studies and Politics from the University in Aberdeen. Mainly interested in issues related to the rule of law, as well as freedom of expression and human rights and private international law.

Diogo Pereira Coelho
Tax Law

A lawyer specializing in IT, TMT & Digital Law, Tax Law, Criminal Law, and Compliance, with a focus on tech-related areas like Web3, Blockchain, AI, and Cybercrime. He holds a Law degree, a Master's in Corporate Law, and actively participating in various international legal and tech associations.

Dimitrios Kyriazis
Tax Law

Managing Partner of Kyriazis Law Offices in Athens and an Assistant Professor of EU Law at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. A former Head of the Law Faculty at Northeastern University London, he has also taught at Oxford and UCL, with expertise in state aid law and experience in arbitration.

Graça Canto Moniz
Law & Tech

Data Governance Chair at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and an assistant professor at Universidade Lusófona. She is a member of the European Personal Data Protection Board expert group and coordinates Portugal's national data strategy. She holds a PhD in Public Law.

Leonard Feld
ESG

Advisor at the Danish Institute for Human Rights in Copenhagen, specializing in EU regulatory developments related to business and human rights. His expertise includes human rights and environmental due diligence, forced labor prevention, and sustainability reporting.

Luís Brandão
Corporate Law

Financial Consultant with over ten years of professional experience, specializing in bridging the gap between finance and legal practice. He has worked closely with lawyers on a daily basis, gaining a deep understanding of the financial concepts most relevant to legal contexts. 

Marco Almada
Law & Tech

Holds a PhD from the European University Institute (EUI), focusing on AI regulation. Before joining the EUI, Marco obtained degrees in law and computer science in Brazil and gained experience working as a data scientist and policy researcher. His work bridges the gap between legal frameworks and innovation.

Mariana Viveiros
Corporate Law

Holds a law degree. From 2018 to 2020, she served as a Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Finance. She has been an Assistant at Católica Lisbon School of Law for seven years, teaching Company and Commercial Law. In 2021, she founded MFV Advogados, focusing on Regulatory, Corporate and Private matters.

Mario Pagano

Holds a PhD in EU law from the European University Institute in Florence and an LLM in European Legal Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges. Specializes in European legal frameworks and has developed in many years of work a deep expertise in EU regulatory matters.

Natalia Moreno Belloso
Tech and Competition Law

Doctoral researcher in law at the European University Institute, focusing on how competition law addresses value conflicts, particularly in relation to digital platforms, privacy, and cybersecurity. Holds an LLB, LLM, and BSc in Economics from Tilburg University, and a second LLM from the EUI.

Nikita Divissenko
Banking and Finance Law

Nikita Divissenko is Assistant Professor in Law & Technology at Utrecht University Law School. Nikita holds a PhD in law from the European University Institute, and his main research interests include regulatory approaches to technological innovation and digitalisation.

Paloma Schwarz
Tax Law

Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Luxembourg. She was Assistant Professor at the University of Liechtenstein and Visiting Professor at the University of Turin. She has also worked as a tax lawyer for a renowned Luxembourg law firm and a high-end independent consulting firm. 

Selcukhan Ünekbaş
Competition Law

PhD Researcher in Law at the European University Institute, Florence. Selçuk is also a Scholar of the Dynamic Competition Initiative, a research collaboration between EUI, Free University of Amsterdam, and Univeristy of California, Berkeley. He mostly explore EU Competition law in general. 

Tommaso Fia
Tech and AI Law

Postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Law of the University of Tübingen, specializing in data governance. His research focuses on the interplay between data governance, European private law, data protection, and intellectual property law, with a particular interest in digital regulation.

Xavier Lavayssière
Banking and Finance Law

Graduated in Public Law of the Economy and Computer Science, Xavier focuses on the intersection of technical architectures, policy objectives, and regulations of digital finance. He has participated in developing foundational technical projects, education programs, and research publications.
