Graça Canto Moniz
Graça Canto Moniz is «data governance chair» at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and assistant professor at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa. She’s a member of the expert group of the European Personal Data Protection Board since 2022. In 2023, she was appointed by the Portuguese government to coordinate the national data strategy. Graça Canto Moniz has a PhD in Public Law from Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (2019) and an MBA from INSEAD (2022). She is also CEO of FUTURA, a consultancy specializing in cyber risk management.
